Please review the following terms before submitting your warranty request.
- Spray-painted cabinets come with a 3-year shop warranty, this means that Sharrard Painting will respray items the customer can bring back to our shop. This includes but, is not limited to, all removable cabinet doors, drawers, light valances, crowns and gable ends.
- The warranty covers labour only – paint charges of 80$ may be extra if the lacquer required is not in stock.
- Wood panel doors expand and contract over time due to changes in humidity. Sometimes hairline cracks will develop where the miters or doors are glued together – because this is a natural occurrence our warranty will NOT cover this.
- Paint for standard colours is provided free of cost – all other other colours a paint charge MAY apply if we do not have the colour available. Lacquer cost approxiamtly 85 dollars per gallon (May 2021)
- Our standard colours are: Cloud White CC40, Oxford White CC30, White Dove OC17, Simply White OC117, and Chantilly Lace OC65
- Alignment of doors and drawers is not part of the warrenty, For assistance with the alignment of hinges and drawers see YOUTUBE.
- Repairs for dents and chips are not covered but can be repaired if brought to us. Our standard hourly rate is $85 per hour
- Touch up paint for standard colours is available (for pickup / no charge) should you need to repair items that cannot be brought back to our shop
- If you want repairs to onsite or fixed elements we can come onsite to repair these items at cost – $85 per hours/min 3.75 hours (half day) plus paint ( for nonstandard colours)
- Touch-up paint is provided for based base cabinets since the spray painting of base cabinets is not covered under warranty. We only provide touch-up paint for standard colours (see above) we do not provide touch-up paint for custom colours but will provide a specification and purchasing assistance.
